Does this product support UPNP or Samba network connections? I am wanting to be able to stream my photos from my internal network as well as from the internet. If you do not support these things, you should consider it.

I would be very pleased if also FTP is supoprted. Sync with a network drive would be great also.
Please keep me posted as I would like to order one soon.

I'd buy this frame in a second if it has UPnP. Right now I'm looking at the Kodak wireless ones whioch do support UPnP but they are nothing like the iGala.
Before I consider this picture frame, I must be able to mount a remote network share (I prefer samba) and display the pictures from that share. Mounting the frame as a share itself (using samba server) is not necessary for me, I would connect the frame to a laptop and manage the pictures that way. I may even like to upload files via ssh and scp, if possible.

YES ! I would like the frame to access my network shares. I am looking for such operation in a photo frame for 2 days, but still not found. Your product kept my attention because it seems to be more 'open ' than others thanks to Linux. So that, maybe that access to network shares will only need a firmware update ?
I a waiting before buying. Thanks you.
It would be wonderful if one could use FTP to send pictures to your frame from one's computer. A lot of people have computers, and there are lots of software amateurs out here who understand FTP. Just tell us the username, password, socket number if it isn't standard, and any important warnings. It's easy to write a program to resize an image and upload it. You'd be surprised at all the interesting ideas out here. If nothing else, there is the informational display market. I'd love to have my own in house image channel with pretty pictures, webcams, weather reports and so on, but I'd really rather NOT have to use someone else's specially cooked outside web site to deal with this. Why clog my DSL line and compromise my privacy?
Let folks know when your product supports FTP. A lot of us are quite excited by the idea. We may be your future OEMs.
Yes, we will consider these two choices for local uploading method. We are trying to estimate the number of users out there who understand and uses these technologies.

Access to network shares
Same for me. Support of media on local network shares is a must have. So, thank you for including this feature on your roadmap!
It is now on our roadmap for 2009
It is now on our road map for 2009 but may not be in the immediate future.

I would be very interested in the ability to upload to the frame and for the frame to access network shares.
